embership is available to anyone who lives or works in Milwaukee, Racine, Waukesha Counties, and anyone that is a part of one of our Select Employee Groups*. Once a member, always a member, as long as you keep your account active.

In order to become a member of Peoples Credit Union you must open a share (savings) account. You must first fill out a membership card and maintain a $5.00 balance in your share (savings) account. This maintains your membership in the credit union, allowing you to vote at the Annual Meeting and to obtain other credit union benefits and services.

As a member of the credit union you have the right to vote at the annual meeting and to elect the directors of the credit union. Every member has the same voting power regardless of how much or how little money is deposited or borrowed.

Since Peoples Credit Union is a not-for-profit cooperative it operates solely to serve its members. You can be assured that every decision made at Peoples Credit Union is made with our members financial well-being in mind.

What is it that makes your credit union so special? Credit unions are committed to providing our members with favorable rates on loans and savings, low fees, personal attention and convenience.

Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives. We return all excess income to our members in the form of better rates and lower fees. We offer the same financial products as other financial institutions, but we do it as a service, not as a source of income. That's why you'll notice that our fees are significantly lower.

Every credit union is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors; Directors are elected by the members of the credit union at our Annual Meeting. The individuals currently serving on Peoples Credit Union Board of Directors are:
